Detector Dogs

Only after an extensive selection and training process will a canine become a R.A.I.D. Corps detector dog.  The detector dogs we use have been in environments ranging from large industrial sites, schools and even boats at sea.  Our detector dogs have endurance and drive that stands up to the toughest job.

R.A.I.D. Corps’ detector dogs are trained to passively alert on the odors of:

• Marijuana/Hashish
• Cocaine/Crack
• Methamphetamine
• Heroin
• MDMA
• Gunpowder

Our detector dogs receive ongoing maintenance training and are certified annually by a nationally recognized independent detector dog organization.
